Sculptra to Restore Facial Volume

Sculptra Aesthetic is an injectable that stimulates your body’s own natural collagen production and restores facial volume. Sculptra has been FDA approved in the U.S. and has been used worldwide since 1999. The aesthetic contains a synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is a biocompatible, biodegradable substance that is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and commonly found in dissolvable stitches.

The ideal candidates for Sculptra are middle-aged women (50-60) who’ve lost volume in their face.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is an oft-promoted devotee of Sculptra. For the men, the alpha male of Hollywood – Brad Pitt – have been rumored to have had Sculptra to keep the naturally looking youthful appearance and facial volume.

Spider Vein Therapy

Spider Vein therapy is a specialty treatment for unsightly veins and spider veins. This mildly invasive medical procedure uses an injection of a solution (generally a salt solution) directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the vessel, causing it to swell and stick together. Even though the procedure might sound a bit uncomfortable, it is time-tested and proven safe having been used effectively since the 1930s. The results you can get are terrific: between 50 and 80 percent of injected veins may be eliminated with each session.

In general, spider veins respond to treatment in 3 to 6 weeks, and larger veins respond in 3 to 4 months. Gradually the vessel turns into scar tissue and fades away from view.
